God's Will

Now that the New Year is near, maybe we wonder what is the plan of God for His people.
But we all know the truth which is that God does not change,
He is the same forever. And in that case His plan is always the same;
That is the Salvation of the lost. And in this case God's message to His church is
as always "Go ye therefore and preach the Gospel to all the people" Mark 16:15.

I believe that many of us Christians have decided to spend more time
this year in evangelizing the World than in the past.
Maybe we have already a plan to do so more successfully than the last year. Maybe we leave it to our Lord to direct us to go the right way. If so may I suggest to you, that we all should pray John 17:21 "that we all be one; as Jesus and the Father are one"
For that's how the World will know that Jesus came from heaven, sent by our Father in Heaven.
Therefore instead of criticizing, arguing and gossiping about our brothers and sisters in Christ let us start loving them. And if they still don't like us, then let us pray for them even more fervently than before and let us bless them in more ways than ever before.
Let us have rooted deep in our hearts, the words of our Lord Jesus in Matthew 5:44
"Bless your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you. Because then and only then, you shall be children of our Father in Heaven." And let us remember Christ's answer to Peters question: "Lord how oflen shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him: till seven times? "I don't tell you seven times BUT seventy time seven" Matthew 19:21,22

You know, it becomes even more easier to forgive people that hurt us in any way, if
we forgive them immediately, without waiting for them to apologise to us first;
which can be a very very long wait indeed.
If we forgive them straight away, this means that we act in obedience to
the commandment of our Lord Jesus. And we all know that what counts in the end, is our obedience to Christ and not the actions or words of other people.
After all as the Heaven is high above the Earth so much higher is God from the people
and His Power and Glory is even higher than that.
However He that made the Universe did not see it as a shame to become a man and even
more to die for us. Surely it must be much easier for us to become a bit more humble than we are and to accept others as our equal at least.
After all the truth is that none of us is so much higher and better than others as we like to believe we are.

WHERE IS HE?

Some times when we feel low some of us cry out to our God: "Lord where are you?'
Well the truth is that our Lord never left us- He assures us many times that
He will never leave us nor forsake us.
If we believe and confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God
who become flesh, born from a virgin,lived amongst people, died on the Cross,
was buried and rose from the dead, victorious over Satan and death and
all their agents visible and invisible, then we are saved.
And if so we should not ask God about His whereabouts or invite Him to come to us.
For God is not a visitor BUT a RESIDENT. He resides in every believer.
We never see Him arrive; we just come to know that He is in us.
If we try to accept or reject the fact that He is in us according to our
feelings then we indulge in psychology not faith. God never comes. He does not need to
for He NEVER LEFT. He always keeps His promise, which is that He will never leave us
nor forsake us and that He will be with us UNTIL TIlE END OF TIMES.
All it takes is for us to join Him in cleaning our house from all trash and replacing it
with the fruit of His own beauty.
God never lies. If we believe Him, we will all have a great year in every
way; correction, we will have a great life, for many many years don't mind only one.

To our God and Heavenly Father be Glory and Might and Dominion and thanks forever and ever through the Name of our Lord Christ Jesus.
